It was a fabulous day at Jenny and Alice's joyous wedding and I was honoured to be their Great Lodge wedding photographer. What an epic wedding this was! Jenny & Alice brought the emotion, the joy, the good times and everything in between in this stunning outdoor, rustic inspired celebration of their love. Great Lodge was the perfect setting for their day. I loved the intimacy of their personalised ceremony by the lake, brilliantly led by @aggiethecelebrant. Garden games, yummy food and plenty of fizz interspersed breaks for family photos and fun on the lawn.
Then in the impressive historical Anne of Cleves barn, a series of emotional (and often hilarious) speeches from their nearest and dearest complimented their wedding breakfast. Finally, Jenny and Alice let their hair down for a right old knees up to live music to finish the night in style. This one will stay in the memory for some time to come and I’m so so thrilled for J + A. Massive congratulations to you both.

Great Lodge - An exclusive use, rustic Essex Wedding Venue
Great Lodge is a beautiful rural estate in North West Essex, which has been family owned for over 100 years. In 1989 Alan Jordan planted the Bardfield Vineyard which produces a range of award winning wines. In 2014 his daughter Rebecca opened the magnificent Grade 1 Anne of Cleves Barn as a wedding and event venue and more recently the Great Lodge Barns were converted into stylish accommodation for wedding guests.
